on this site. Some listings, especially the early years, are likely incorrect. They are my best guess

includes Jerry Garcia and the performers listed as guests on that performance.

Noah Weiner: It's hard to know just how much Phil was or was not in the band prior to Torbert. And not super
clear when Torbert came in. He was certainly in full swing by May 1970. Also, in an interview, circa August 1971,
they mention that Bob Mathews played bass some as well, though when and how much is unclear at the moment.

Noah Weiner: I say January 1970, but since we only have tapes from August 1969 (without Torbert, seemingly)
and then May 1970, it is unclear again, to me, when exactly Torbert joined.

Noah Weiner: Sounds a lot like Mickey on the 11/06-07-08/70 sets, I think. I will have to dig them out
again to be sure. Definitely Dryden on 11/29/70 as he is introduced along with the rest of the members. Jerry's
last show was very likely 10-31-71, but we have no tape of this gig. The last Jerry show we have comes from
the day before, 10-30-71. Cage was in the band (on tapes we have) on 11-11-71. There was no Riders set on
11-07-71 according to our own Michael Parrish who was there. Cage's first show could have been 11-06-71.
