10/26: If you're in the Bay area between now November 4th, head down to San Francisco City Hall to see the Jerry Garcia Art Exhibition. The show features on exhibition rare drawings from Jerry's childhood and early paintings from his days at The California School of the Arts, (now known as The San Francisco Art Institute) along with The Jerry Garcia Tour 2004-2005 showing over forty prints, originals and photographs of Jerry. The show is free and open to the public Monday through Friday. For details, click here

10/25: The new Garcia Plays Dylan is available in stores. I've created a new web page with complete information about the new release.
10/1: A new Jerry release is available from jerrygarcia.com for pre-order. It's titled Garcia Plays Dylan and will be released on Oct 25th. This two-disc set features 15 previously unreleased versions of Jerry doing Dylan songs. Various incarnations of the Jerry Garcia Band, Legion of Mary, Grateful Dead are represented.
10/1: Last week a special tribute concert for Jerry was held at the Greek Theater. Titled Comes a Time it featured former members of the Grateful Dead, Jerry Garcia Band in addition to Trey Anastasio, String Cheese Incident, Bruce Hornsby and others. A review can be found on here on JamBands.com (it's near the bottom under date 9/26). I'm working on getting a setlist posted. In the mean while, check out Bob Minkin's photos of the concert here
10/1: There's a new Jerry release from Warner Theatre, March 18th, 1978. It's in the Pure Jerry series and is the complete Early and Late shows from this date from the original two-track masters. This is an infamous show and to have both shows in HDCD format is quite amazing. For more information and to purchase, checkout the Pure Jerry section of jerrygarcia.com
Two new Jerry releases are available from jerrygarcia.com for pre-order. They include the first official Legion of Mary release containing a collection of live recordings from 1974-75. Also available is the first DVD release of a Jerry show Jerry Garcia Band: Live at Shoreline,from the September 1, 1990 concert.
In the past two years, there have been six new releases, all available for ordering from JerryGarcia.com. The releases include:
- Merriweather Post Pavilion: September 1 & 2, 1989, four-CD set
- Keystone Berkeley: September 1, 1974, four-CD set
- Lunt-Fontanne, New York City: October 31, 1987, four-CD set
- Lunt-Fontanne, New York City: The Best of the Rest of October 1987�three-CD set
- Theatre 1839: July 29 & 30, 1977 San Francisco: three-CD set
- After Midnight: Kean College: February 28, 1980 Union, New Jersey
All of these recordings are taken from their original two-track recordings except After Midnight, which was from a sixteen-track reel masters.
