"I was at this show! I'll never forget it! It was in a Vet's Hall and it seemed like a high school gym. I volunteered to clean up garbage in exchange for a ticket, and afterward we all got to meet the musicians and it was the only time in my life I ever shook Jerry's hand."...and another eyewitness reports: "All I know is at that show in Petaluma, the world music in schools, early 1987, I walked face to face with him in a hallway, and I told him how good he looked, and he said thanks and was blushing the whole time. Ended up getting his autograph that night, along with Mickey Hart's, Carlos Santana's, Hamza El Din, and Olatunji. Paid an extra $25.00 to drink champagne with everyone after and do a meet and greet, it was one of the coolest moments of my life!" (Bruce Weber)
