Jerry introduces the band after Run For The Roses...."Jerry & Co played on the Seattle Center Fair grounds that day. I remember that day. It was a beautiful, sunny, idyllic NW summer day. Jerry looked like he was having a great time, smiling, grooving to the music. Hell, he even introduced members of his band (and acknowledged it had been a long time since they played up here). The audience was so laid back, people were getting it on under the trees and everywhere you looked people were smiling, dancing, laughing, loving life. Me, too, of course! A few days later I ran into some people who were part of the production team for the show. They told me Jerry had been sailing out on the Sound the day before and then held a party and barbecue in his honor. They said he had a great time and loved his visit to Slug City.
